After my first attempt with GIMP I spoke to my geeky brother who recommended Paint.net also free but more user friendly – apparently… turns out for what I needed to do I had to download a ‘plugin’ called ‘photo fill’ found here http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/28488-boltbaits-plugin-pack-for-v40-updated-february-5-2015/ Once I did that it was easy sailing!

So I had a look around the internet and it seems Photoshop is the best tool for making digital paper. I do not have Photoshop however nor money to buy it therefore I had a look at free options. I downloaded GIMP. I managed to make some paper using a tutorial for Photoshop from http://www.thecoffeeshopblog.com/2013/10/coffeeshop-tutorial-creating-custom.html but I think it was more luck than judgement!!! The tutorial was great it’s just it was for Photoshop!!
Oh yes if you want to use the paper feel free but I’m sure there are better ones about. Remember it’s my first attempt!!
